SVASE believes that the spirit of cooperation is the unique driving force that has made Silicon Valley great.  In this spirit, we seek to Empower Entrepreneurs by partnering with other non-profit organizations that address entrepreneurial issues. By becoming co-marketing Affiliates with other non-profits, we help provide visibility for each others' events and services for those in our respective audiences who can benefit from them.

Our co-marketing Affiliates represent leading organizations across a broad span of cultural and technology sectors. We promote our Affiliates' events through a monthly emailing to our mailing list of over 9,500 "friends of SVASE", including SVASE members, as well as on our website Event Calendar.
 
In return, our Affiliates advertise SVASE events to their own communities, to whom we offer an affiliate discount. In this way, partnering with SVASE becomes a special benefit for the members of each participating organization and vice versa. There is NO COST to affiliation for qualified non-profits.
 
If you are involved in a Nonprofit organization you do not need to become an official affiliate to post an event. We selectively promote for profit conferences as a benefit to our members and events of our Sponsors. We apologize but we are not able to promote seminars and classes offered by service providers or other for profit companies.

To promote an event on our calendar, just follow these steps:
  • Click on the EVENTS button from the SVASE home page
  • Click the blue "create" button located above the calendar and proceed to add your event listing, using the Non SVASE Events in the category box.  Please remember to include the SVASE Member affilaite discount rate in your write up, in addtion to the Non Member rate.

Events must be non competitive with respect to date and time as well as content. SVASE reserves the right to not post events if the content is not suited to our membership in terms of location or topic. Each posting is done on a web form and must include the following:

  • Brief description (30 words)
  • Website URL
  • Contact name, email and phone number
  • Discount granted to SVASE members (must be at least a 25% discount or the member rate, whichever is higher).

Postings for events that do not contain pricing information and the appropriate discount will be rejected without further communication.
 

  • You will not see your event on the calendar immediately.  Our Affiliate Program Chair reviews the postings weekly
  • Your event will be posted if it includes the requirements above
  • If you do NOT see your event after 2 weeks, please send an email to info@svase.org so that we can research the problem
  • Do not send event write-ups to us as emails: all Affiliate postings must be done directly by you following the steps above
  • Our Non-SVASE Event Email Blast goes out the 15th of each month or closest working day, and includes every event listed on our Calendar.  Make sure to post your events early in the month so that they are included in the blast
